Marylebone High Street Christmas Lights

On Wednesday 14th November, celebrations will kick off with Marylebone’s annual Christmas Lights charity switch-on, organized and funded by The Howard de Walden Estate. From 3-7pm, Marylebone High Street will be buzzing with festive activity (and fully pedestrianised); the official switch on of the Christmas lights will take place at 6pm. The lights have previously been switched on by the likes of Jennifer Saunders, Sophie Dahl and Barbara Windsor.

Attendees can expect to see Santa in his grotto, with complimentary gifts for children, real reindeer, traditional fairground rides and also enjoy the spectacular fireworks, whilst indulging in mulled wine and minced pies.

There will be live musical performances from local schools and professional singers, directed by Iron Maiden’s talented Tony Moore.

The festive 6 week campaign will celebrate the community spirit in Marylebone Village, with retailers offering 24 exciting immersive ‘Merry Marylebone Moments’. Shoppers will be treated to exclusive in-store discounts and promotions, talks, workshops, special seasonal drinks on winter terraces at the finest restaurants, and much more; all designed to create a huge amount of festive cheer in the village right up until Christmas.
