Almost everyone who has ever lived in a period house has wondered at some point what did it look like when it was first built?  Who were the people who lived here and how did they live?   Now there is an opportunity to find out.  On our visit to 68 Dean Street in Soho we will hear how master-carpenter John Meard (who also worked with Wren) built this house for his own family back in the early 18th century. Restored (but not modernised) it provides a unique insight into life at that time.   Our visit will last approximately 1 hour.   Cost is £18 pp and places are limited so to book contact rosemary.forgan@marylebone.org or by phone on 020 7916 9353
