Wallace Collection - Bicentenary Celebrations

wallace_collection The Wallace Collection

This year, the Wallace Collection, the much loved national museum set in an historic town house on Manchester Square, celebrates the 200th birthday of its founder, Sir Richard Wallace.

In addition to a packed programme of activities and events, and as part of the bicentennial celebrations, the Collection has secured £1.2m in funding to create new exhibition space that will triple the museum’s capacity. The new space will open on 20 June 2018 with an inaugural exhibition to mark the founders' bicentenary.

Whether you have half an hour or half a day, visiting the Collection, which is both absorbing and addictive, is a must and totally free. Find out more about the celebrations and visit. Click here
