Tree Planting in Marylebone and Fitzriovia - Final Phase Update

The W1W Tree PIanting Initiative is now working on a final phase of tree planting in support of the Marylebone Low Emission Neighbourhood  and Fitzrovia Forest  projects.

Numerous requests for additional trees have encouraged us to engage in this final phase for the area. Almost 700 trees have been planted since the project began in 2009. We hope that all the trees will improve our environment, especially in the light of continued air pollution issues. The project is also advocating for additional trees on Oxford Street.

Suggestions regarding possible new tree sites as well as financial contributions are most welcome. Previous plantings have been made possible by local donations and partnership with Westminster City Council and Westminster Tree Trust. All of the tree planting is subject local authority survey and consent.
