Objection: The reduced scale of the proposed rear extension is welcomed from the previous refused application however the principle of the extension remains contentious in this location. The proposal does not improve the character or appearance of the CA and therefore remains unacceptable. The landscaping proposals are welcomed and as a separate application would be positively supported.

The applicants' proposals relating to the cornices are unacceptable. If indeed the cornice cannot be repaired, a precise facsimile should be installed, not some random Victorian reproduction.
