Here is the latest updates on the Baker Street Two way scheme.
During phase 1 from 24 July to December 2017 temporary changes will apply, including lane closures, access arrangements, turning restrictions and some parking, loading and bus stop suspensions. As a result the area will be busier than usual and you should plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey.
You can find information on potential traffic and travel impacts during construction by visiting www.tfl.gov.uk/baker-street-roadworks. For the latest information on how roads are operating, see TfL’s traffic status updates page or follow @TfLTrafficNews on Twitter.
If you are a business, find out how other businesses have changed the way they make or receive deliveries during similar events by visiting tfl.gov.uk/freight
There are two CPZ zones that will be impacted by the works. However we will only be suspending the minimum parking in order to allow the works to be undertaken (and to locate welfare units, materials etc). Suspensions will be clearly signed. If you usually park in an affected area, please move your vehicle in advance.
As a part of the works FM Conway Limited has been commissioned by Westminster City Council to carry out investigations of the existing road and footway surfaces to ascertain whether there are any basements within the existing footpath, and if the works could impact upon them. If you are in Phase 1 and this affects you, you will have received/will shortly receive a letter with further information and instructions.
