There may be some future Olympians at Hampden Gurney primary school now that Knight Frank’s Marylebone and Hyde Park offices have sponsored the school’s swimming lessons for years 1 – 6.
“While the students are stretching their minds, gaining life-long academic skills, we feel it is equally important that they stretch their bodies and acquire physical skills for life in an effort to become well-rounded, healthy and happy children. As part of the Physical Education component of the School’s curriculum, we have implemented swimming lessons for all students, Years 1-6 for one academic term a year” said the school.
As well as supporting the swimming lessons, Knight Frank have also provided students with some very smart swimming caps. Swim lessons take place at the nearby Seymour Leisure Centre swimming pool and lessons are conducted by Amateur Swimming Association-approved instructors from the non-profit organisation “Better” www.better.org.uk
The Marylebone and Hyde Park Knight Frank offices began working with the school last year, donating 500 new books for the school’s library and they hope to be able to continue to support them with new projects going forward.
