Association Welcomes 5 new Business Members

We would like to extend a warm welcome to 5 new business members to the Marylebone Association; Ally Capellino, Another Country, Brecker Grossmith, Caroline Gardner and The Wigmore Salon. Their profiles are below.

ally-capellinoFor three decades Ally Capellino has developed a distinct approach to design and a much-loved and highly recognisable aesthetic, culminating in a successful accessories collection. The brand has taken its place on the global stage - reliant, not on trends, but on a timelessness and quality of design that is discreetly representative of a discerning type of modern consumer. Fans return time and again, not for this season's ‛It" bag, but for unassuming and expertly made pieces that fit into their urban existence.

An iconoclastic sense of fun and witty irreverence abides in bags named for Cabinet, Conservative and Labour politicians and in the brand's quintessentially British outlook. Numerous global stockists, a pioneering Apple collaboration plus one with the city's first Ace Hotel, a long running Artists range for the Tate and 2010's major retrospective at the Wapping Project mark Ally Capellino as one of the UK's most successful homegrown brands.

Not only that, but there is an integrity to the range, with production and practicality as high up on our list as aesthetics. British waxed cotton, Italian veg tanned leather and attention to detail make up the unique mix of quirk and quality that is Ally Capellino.

The Marylebone shop is Ally Capellino's third to open in London. Our others being in Shoreditch's Calvert Avenue close to their design studio and in Notting Hill on the corner of Portobello and Golborne Road.

another countryAnother Country makes contemporary craft furniture and accessories. Our designs are inspired by archetype, calling on the familiar and unpretentious forms of British Country kitchen style, Shaker, traditional Scandinavian and Japanese woodwork for inspiration. We endeavor to re-interpret the spirit and functionality of these honest forms of furniture for a modern customer.

We aim to deliver quality and longevity at fair prices - our products are built to last, both in terms of construction and style. Our core business model is a direct to the consumer one and that means you get these high quality products for less..

All of our wooden products are made from certified solid woods in the UK and Europe. We make use of simple craft techniques and work in as sustainable a way as possible. Green Matters details our culture of making.
