Philip Vernon of the Marylebone Association passes away after a long illness

There is sad news to pass on to you that Philip Vernon passed away the day before yesterday after a long illness.

Philip was a member of the Marylebone Association Committee and Planning Sub-Committee for many years from around the year 2000 onwards and was chair of the Planning Sub-Committee for several years. He lived on Montagu Square and worked as an Architect.

He was an extremely intelligent, creative, and thoughtful person, and was passionate about our neighoburhood and the built environment in particular. He will be greatly missed.

His funeral will be at the St. Marylebone Parish Church at 2pm on 9th February.
