53 HARROWBY STREET

16/05040/FULL/PP-05186915 Use of basement and ground floors as restaurant (Class A3). Objection: Fenestration introduced at ground floor on the Brendon St elevation bears no relationship with the existing fenestration pattern on the upper levels or, for that matter, with any other development pattern on the street. Completely random.

The application states this is an application for change of use to A3. However, from the information provided it is unclear what the current use class is. It is merely stated ‘coffeeshop’.

The drawings contain a number of significant inaccuracies and are inherently contradictory. Difficult to rely on this information. DM: 27 September 2016

SELFRIDGES 400 OXFORD STREET

16/07667/FULL/PP-05384612 Erection of temporary means of escape on Duke Street, for a period of 24 months, to enable Phase 2 works (Duke Street Project) to be carried out.

16/08158/FULL/PP-05438361 Variation of Conditions 1 and Removal of 5 of planning permission dated 25 February 2015 (RN: 14/12115/FULL) for Erection of a rear roof extension to create a new residential unit (Class C3). Namely, to vary the approved drawings to allow an additional window and to install tradition sash windows.

Insufficient Information: It is not clear if the addition of the window to the flank wall will impact on the amenity of the neighbouring property. Clarification required VS: 27 September 2016

I NUTFORD PLACE

16/08060/TELECOM/PP-05431477 Installation of a replacement telecommunications cabinet on the public highway measuring 1.43m(H) x 1.1m (L) x 0.45m (W).

FLAT 1 MONTAGU SQUARE

15/11490/FULL/PP-04675901 Installation of replacement external stair, cantilevered glass terrace and associated glass balustrade within rear courtyard.

Insufficient Information: It is not clear if the fabric to be replaced is of historic significance. Further information should be submitted to support the proposals. VS: 27 September 2016

2 MONTAGU MEWS WEST

16/08455/FULL/PP-05454545 Alterations including the erection of a single storey roof extension with roof terrace to the front of the building. Excavation of a basement and two light wells to rear of the property with cast iron balustrades and relocation of garden stair to rear of the property.

Comment: The dormer window proposed to the rear of the single storey roof extension is misaligned in relation to existing fenestration on the elevation at ground and first floor level. The Association recommends that this is aligned. DM: 28 September 2016
