Marylebone Music Festival

Marylebone Music Festival

An annual community festival bringing international artists to Marylebone’s special venues.
Now in its Third Year, the 2018 festival will celebrate Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s much loved literary figure Sherlock Holmes. We invite everyone to our programme of concerts and events inspired by Holmes’ connection to Music, the Violin and Marylebone.

Internationally renowned chamber musicians will perform concert programmes around Musical Cryptography, Spiritualism, Fantasy and Opium. Delighted this year to announce that Festival Patron and Prog rock Legend Rick Wakeman will perform in the Wallace Collection Gallery on 23rd June. See full programme at www.marylebonemusicfestival.com

Events for children. - Director Sue Perkins will be conducting two concerts for children - Peter and the Wolf - Thursday 21st June and the unmissable inspirational interactive concert for kids ‘Noisy Notes’ which will be performed in the Duke’s Hall at the Royal Academy of Music.

Festival Finale - The Festival comes to a dramatic close in the newly named ‘Marylebone Pleasure Gardens’ - Manchester Square, with performances from the Queen’s Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment. Free refreshments available in the Garden courtesy of the Marylebone Hotel and Marylebone Gin.

All proceeds from the Festival go to Marylebone-based charity for the homeless - The West London Day Centre.
