Marylebone Association: Baker Street Two Way Consultation Response

Marylebone Association: Baker Street Two Way Consultation Response

The Marylebone Association supports the principle of restoring gyratory systems to two-way working. With the current one-way operation Baker Street and, in particular, Gloucester Place contrast dramatically with the overall feel of Marylebone and are characterised by stop/start driving with fast acceleration from one set of traffic lights followed by heavy braking at the next. Oxford Street Buses

Oxford Street Buses

The Evening Standard on the 18th June made a front page story from an apparent comment by the, now outgoing, TfL Commissioner, Sir Peter Hendy, that buses could be moved from Oxford Street to adjacent streets such as Wigmore Street.
