The Victorian “Beehive” pub on Crawford Street which was badly damaged in a July 2015 flat fire has re-opened. Cuisine Collect, which runs the pub had previously spent a year and a half refurbishing the Grade II Listed pub in 2009. Built in 1884, the pub has now been painstakingly repaired again by builders as part of its protected English Heritage status. It is now open for business, for tables call 020 7486 8037. website: thebeehive-pub.co.uk/
From Rashmi Becker:
My dance partner and I are planning to offer groundbreaking ballroom and latin wheelchair dance opportunities which bring disabled and non-disabled dancers together to learn, perform and compete. There are no such opportunities in London yet the demand is high. Wheelchair dance is an International Paralympic Sport (IPC) and global talent is impressive but in the UK we have only one couple competing internationally. As well as the competitive side, wheelchair dance is a beautiful, technical, creative art form. It benefits health and well-being, builds confidence and communication and bring people together
