Marylebone Library moving to new location

Marylebone library will close at its current location on Beaumont Street on Sunday 25 June and re-open at its new temporary location on 9-11 New Cavendish Street on a date to be announced as soon as possible.

Better Oxford Street Campaign calls for consultation response opposing pedestrianisation

TfL have now launched their consultation on Oxford Street pedestrianisation. The weight of their guidance on the subject appears to lean heavily in favour of closure, if not 24 hours at least for most of the day, opening late evening to allow for deliveries at night time, so that it can be claimed as "partial closure”.

Marylebone - Duke of York Pub Reopens!

We have just learnt that the The Duke of York Pub on the corner of Harrowby St and Molyneux St has re-opened under new management – having been closed down for some 6 months. This is good news to see one of our local pubs opening again.
