20mph Speed Limit Quiz

In the Association's 2015 Annual Report we asked residents to express their view on 20mph zones in Westminster. Several residents' associations requested that 20mph zones or borough-wide limits be introduced in responding to the WCC draft Cycling Strategy. However many people do not understand many of the facts around details of 20mph zones. Westminster Living Streets the Borough of Westminster branch of the national charity that stands up for pedestrians have put together a simple interactive quiz to test your knowledge on 20mph zones. The Association Annual General Meeting was held on Monday 8th June and commenced shortly after 7.00pm at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Portman Square. There was an attendance of over 100 members and amongst the numbers were many local ward councillors and the MP for the Cities of London and Westminster, Mark Field.

Marylebone Association - Marylebone Forum Report 2015

The Marylebone Forum is a vehicle for local planning but it will also provide a wider platform for dealing with matters of concern to the area for both residents' and non-residents'. This will be the first time that Marylebone has had a single body incorporating representatives of such a comprehensive cross section of the community. Bringing these groups together should in itself result in much productive dialogue and hopefully develop a united voice for Marylebone on many of the issues that confront us.
